Norfolk South …studio musicians and good friends, coming together to write and record some great rock n roll. Located in Southern Ontario, the group enjoys Blues, Rock, and Southern Rock, and many other genres. Members are from left to right… Tony Duclos (harmonica), Mark Christopher Kantor (drums), Rick W Mercer (guitar & vocals), and Ron Harten (bass). This is the band’s first studio song collaboration together, that being ”I’m Southbound”. This song was originally written by Rick W Mercer several years ago and recorded as a demo recording. But Rick, recently, became eager to record the song at Studio 224 with his great local musician friends. All members of this collaborate have their own band projects. So it was a great honour for Rick to have his great musicians friends make time to record this tune. And yes, it was a blast recording “I’m Southbound”.
